The assignment for the semester work of the Graphic Design and Visual Communication studio was Female issue processed using artificial intelligence in a set of compositions that express our idea of the topic.
The book combines the visual and verbal treatment of the topic using artificial intelligence,
specifically the artworks from beta.dreamstudio.ai and the texts from Chat GPT.
The work is based on the identification of topics that are closely related to the so-called female issue. I then record the communication with the AI on these topics. In the communication, I am combining questions for information discovery, attitude clarification, and solution suggestions. In the imagery, I follow a similar process, drawing on keywords that relate to each topic. Here I use experiments and trials to explore how Ai is able to process the topic. For use in the book, I used both complete "creations" of Ai as well as cut-outs or individual motifs. The artwork is interspersed with questions posed to the AI about the status of women. These are questions about the female body, beauty, reproduction or prostitution.
This work analyzes and maps the position taken by AI on specific women's issues and contemporary societal problems.
